Hi:

I'm trying to install bambu on my computer, using ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
It's fine until step 5, with "../configure --prefix=/opt/panda --enable-flopoco --enable-icarus --enable-verilator --enable-opt --enable-release", it shows the error message same as topic.
I use sudo -i at the very beginning so I assume having the highest permission, or maybe I'm wrong?

Another problem is that is there a document about HLS pragmas provided like this https://www.xilinx.com/html_docs/xilinx2019_1/sdaccel_doc/hls-pragmas-okr1504034364623.html

Thanks.

Hi,

first, my suggestion is to use the GitHub branch panda-0.9.7-dev.
Sudo may change the owner of the file. So pay attention to what is the real owner of the file and in case change back to your own user.
About the pragma documentation. There are only examples in this directory: https://github.com/ferrandi/PandA-bambu/tree/panda-0.9.7-dev/panda_regressions/hls/bambu_specific_test4
cheers,
Fabrizio

Hi,

First of all, thanks for reply!
About pragmas, I still have some questions.
After reading those examples, the pragmas are like #pragma HLS_interface ... ... . Just confusing about what that mean.
Also, I already knew that there are some commands provided to optimize performance, area etc. in bambu, but is there any knob, pragma or parameter which is capable of controlling which loop to do unrolling or not, or like if one of the function should be inline or not?

Best Regards,
Brian
