I am attempting to use Packer behind a proxy server which uses ssl decryption.  This proxy has created issues with other tools but i have generally been able to work around the challenges.

I noticed a github post regarding a potential patch to 1.3.1 for proxy and this didn't seem to work.

I am trying to build AWS ami using packer. I don't have issues if I am not on the using the proxy.

I have tried packer 1.3.2 and 1.3.1 as well

This is using EBS

Can someone tell me if there is a workaround or this is fixed in an older/newer version?

I don't think this has been fixed in a more recent version.

Is there an older version of packer which works with an authenticated ssl decryption proxy?
