Permission denied on local script although it's chmod 777

I already chmoded the file with 777 ?! but still 

[1;32m==> amazon-ebs: Running local shell script: ./me.sh [0m
[0;32m    amazon-ebs: bash: ./me.sh: Permission denied [0m
