How to use amis from packer

Hi Team,
I installed the packer also I created a images as well,my doubt here is how to use in real scenarios, for eg: in my preprod environment some servers already running that Is already configured with the load balancer etc.. So now if I want to use the ami that was created by packer how can I achieve here.. If I create a new servers with the packer ami all the configuration will change Bcz environment already configured..

your configuration on top of of the old ami need be your application.

how did you configure those?

if by hand, then you will have to do all by hand.

packer is just building a new ami, how you use it, and what you do on top need to be part of the release cycle of the application
