Packer + Flatcar Linux on ESXi

Hi everyone, I am building an appliance on ESXi using Flatcar as the base OS.

My packer uses the vmware-iso builder, VM boots but noticed that / is mounted as tmpfs.

Is there anyone here that used Flatcar with packer to talk about this ?
