amazon-ebs: Error waiting for AMI

Hi All,

I am trying to build Bamboo Elastic Agent AMI 6.9, it is at the final step to create the AMI from the instance and the temporary AMI is waiting for a long time to become available. Finally it fails with the following error message.

==> amazon-ebs: Cleaning up any extra volumes...

==> amazon-ebs: Deleting temporary keypair...

Build 'amazon-ebs' errored: Error waiting for AMI. Reason: <nil>

==> Some builds didn't complete successfully and had errors:

--> amazon-ebs: Error waiting for AMI. Reason: <nil>

==> Builds finished but no artifacts were created.

=========================================================

I have tried to set the environment variable as below from Powershell

$Env:AWS_MAX_ATTEMPTS=400

$Env:AWS_POLL_DELAY_SECONDS=10

Still no luck. Can someone assist me?

Hi All,

I have set the env variable as follows and will re-run the build. In the meantime can anyone suggest if I am missing something?

$env:PACKER_LOG=1

$env:PACKER_LOG_PATH="C:\Packer\packerlog.txt"

$Env:AWS_MAX_ATTEMPTS=4000

$Env:AWS_POLL_DELAY_SECONDS=10
