I am using vsphere-iso builder to build a RHEL 7.4 template in vSphere 6.5. This is then used by Terraform to build multiple application servers.
Packer is also running on RHEL 7.4.

The problem is, packer build is ignoring the "-force" option, so it won't build a new template if the current one already exists.
Is there any easy way to get rid of the old template?
I've been looking at the Rest API, but I can't seem to find the template's VM ID, except via the vSphere "Managed Object Browser".

Hello

The more information the better.

For what I recall, Packer will build over ESXI shell a VM, and its ovftool over post processor that creates a template.
is that last step the one failing?

screenshot, packer in debug mode , template are welcome
