I'm looking into possible alternatives for building a Centos 7 ISO that includes our custom configuration and software. Obviously one option is Packer.

We already have kickstart files for Centos 7 that configure the OS to meet our requirements. Would it be possible to use these kickstart files with Packer?

Thanks

Thanks Frédéric.

Sorry - I deleted my original post. I realised I know almost nothing about kickstart files and only a little bit about Packer, so I thought I'd better do some more reading and investigation first. I also realised that the examples use a kickstart file (.ks). Oops!

I copied my kickstart files and created a simple Packer JSON file. The QEmu window pops up but the installer fails as I have multiple files as part of my kickstart, and they're expected to be mounted on the filesystem.

Time to read some more.
Thanks
