Hi,

I have been using packer with VMWare Infrastructure and it looks pretty impressive. I can spin-up VM's consistently and shut them down. However, I did not see any way to delete the VM after shutdown. Is there a way to do that with packer ?

Regards,
Irfan

You should look into terraform which is what you want to use to create resources. Packer is more of creating base images

Hi
Like C.Campbell says you should only use Packer to create your templates.
If you want to Create/delete VM with code you should take a look at Terraform (already mention) or Ansible.
