Hi folks,

I’m using org.pac4j:pac4j-saml:6.3.0 as a Maven dependency. It transitively pulls in org.opensaml:opensaml-core-api:5.1.6.

Since today (April 15), I’ve started encountering an issue where org.opensaml:opensaml-core-api:5.1.6 can no longer be downloaded from the Shibboleth repository:
https://build.shibboleth.net/maven/releases/

The request now fails with a 403 Forbidden error.

Error log:

Failed to collect dependencies at org.pac4j:pac4j-saml:jar:6.3.0
-> org.opensaml:opensaml-core-api:jar:5.1.6:
Failed to read artifact descriptor for org.opensaml:opensaml-core-api:jar:5.1.6:
The following artifacts could not be resolved:
org.opensaml:opensaml-core-api:pom:5.1.6 (absent):
Could not transfer artifact org.opensaml:opensaml-core-api:pom:5.1.6
from/to shibboleth-releases (https://build.shibboleth.net/maven/releases/):
status code: 403, reason phrase: Forbidden (403)

This was working fine yesterday (April 14), and no changes were made on our side.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue recently?
Is there any change in repository access or a new recommended repository endpoint?

Thanks!

Hi,

I think the repositories have issues. It's not the first time.
This should be fixed soon.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Jérôme

Hi,

I have seen a message from the Shibboleth guy (Scott Cantor) saying it should be ok now.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Jérôme
