I am very new to Oxcal and tried doing the p-sequence by reproducing the original data given in "Deposition Models for Chronological Records" (CB Ramsay, 2007) but could not able to reproduce it. Could someone please help me out in sorting the problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi Aqib,

I think you need to change a couple of things in the Format, i.e tic 'show likelihood' and 'show posterior'.  Also on 'Style you may have B&W (black and white) only ticked.  Untic this to obtain the filled view of the plot.  You can also choose the limits (68.2% 95.4% etc) currently you are showing both.

Hope this helps

It may also be that you are trying to show the age-depth plot before the MCMC has finished. To check his just reopen the project and check that it is not still running (with View > Run status).

Thanks a lot for finding out the error. I was doing the same mistake again and again. But finally, I have got it right. Thanks a lot, Sir.

Warm Regards
