has anyone ordered any parts from LR Direct before? https://www.lrdirect.com/

and successfully had it imported from the UK

I ordered directly from the UK. Take about 4 days if they have stock and it works out cheaper. Tried using the local guys but got messed around too much.

I used to order from Britcar but think I heard they went out of business. Perhaps just check.

Lately I order from powerful uk as I don’t need any of the older Defender parts.

Britcar did indeed close down, but are back again and fully operational. The story is a bit complex, but they have sorted their problems out.

I found them very efficient at the time and in fact I could at one stage get my order before the local guys even answered my emails or returned my phone calls.

That’s what I fount too Bruce. Their online chat was most useful, as they would post a picture of the parts manual to confirm we were talking about the right parts. All taking a few minutes, so no surprise they would confirm and have your stuff at your door quicker than many others would even respond. It is a family business and they are very much involved in it.

I order from lrdirect.com quite often, had multiple packages delivered to Portugal, Zambia, Namibia and SA. Works fine, continue to use them
Quickish, more selection of parts and cheaper than most local items if you buy a small bundle of things.
