My 10th great grandparents are Jeanne Gisis-Bahmahmaadjimiwin Manitoukoue and Jean Nicolet de Belle-Borne dit Manitouiriniou.

I have your ancestry within my database; however I have only followed your Branch of the Pichet Lineage back to Aurelie Pichet [1818-1860].

Apparently, she was a daughter of Paul Pichet and Marie Champoux … who I have found No History for ….

 

Aurelie married Leon Auger [b.1810; died unknown] on Feb. 03^rd, 1835 at Ste Melanie de Joliette, Quebec, Lower Canada

I have not followed this Auger Line ….

 

I have Jean "Sieur-de-Belleborne" NICOLET [1587-1642] and Jeanne "Nipissirienne" Anishinabae-Kwe NIPISSING [b.circa 1610; d. Before 1669] – she was born in an Algonquin Indian Village or encampment, Nipissing Lake district (Ontario). **She is also identified as "Jeanne Bahmahmaadjimowin GIISIS" in the Research of Zane Bell [Zane is also known as  Chief Wabiska Mukwa, Algonquin Woodland Métis] **...

They were the Parents of Marie Magdeleine "Euphrosine" Euphasie NICOLET [1628-1689], who married Jean LeBLANC [1620-1662] – a son of Clement LeBLANC and Anne Jeanne FERT-FETRE LEFEBVRE

 

Their daughter, Marie "Madeleine"-NIPISSING LeBLANC [1652-1708], married Jean PEGIN-BEGI PICHET [1636-1699] – a son of Pierre "Peter"-LAMUSETTE PICHET and Ann-de-ST.GEORGE PINET

Their son, Louis Nipissing-PEGIN PICHET [1685-1760], married  Marie Anne COTE [1694-1729]

 

Their eldest child was Jean Baptiste PICHET [1717-1789]. He married Madeleine PAILLE PAILLARD [1719-1789].

I have 4 children for them: Jean Baptiste, Madeleine, Francois and Marie Josephe….

 

I do not have a son named Paul PICHET identified as being born to Jean and Madeleine ….

Possibly there is a generation missing here ……

 

I have you as a daughter of Charles Herbert "Chuck" THORNHILL [1932-2008] and  Yolande Gwendolyn LYON [1930-2015].

I have your Maternal Grandparents as John George LYON [1908-1984] and Marie Delores "Emma" LANDRY [1912-1973].

 

Do you have exact Dates of Death [and places of Death] for your Great Grandparents – being Amedee LANDRY [b.1880] and Marie Dorimene-CAILLE CAYER [b.1873]

I have some Nicolet in my Luxembourg ancestors. Wonder if they are related? Borders in Europe, especially for Luxembourg , were quite fluid and changing a lot over the centuries.
