Acadians in the American Revolution - in Acadie

This file will likely be interesting for many folks on the site, especially those who will find their cousins & ancestors named here. It’s about Acadians fighting in today’s Canadian province of New Brunswick (part of old Acadie), during the so-called “Eddy Rebellion” on behalf of the American War of Independence. Sending it in both PDF & Word. The core of the piece is a translation of a few pages written by Paul Surette, but I added many notes, images, & material from other sources. I hope you’ll disseminate it freely.
(PS: One of the young soldiers, Mathurin DesRoches, is the father of the paternal grandfather of my paternal grandfather.)
