Internet Explorer stuck in creating session

Hi all,

when I use IE 11 on Windows 10 I run into the following peculiar problem (not in Chrome, Firefox, Edge):

I run otree devserver, open localhost in the browser. When starting an app, I get stuck on the waitpage in creating session, with no error messages.

The problem occurs with my own project, with the sample projects, with otree 5.1.2 and otree 3.3.11.

Having created a session with another browser, I can open the session-wide links in IE, therefore not a huge issue, but curious nonetheless what is going wrong (in case something else is, too).

The participant interface should be compatible with IE. However, admin interface requires a modern browser.
