Having trouble making a transfer.

Hi, 

I am a new player. I have played only one game this season. I requested to make a transfer last week to a team in the same age group that is much closer to me. I was told by my DD that I should be able to make a transfer but I am having trouble enabling this. Both managers are in agreement that it can happen. 

Is there someone I can work with to help me make this transfer happen before this weekend's game?

In my experience, the DD has to do this manually.   If you played only in the 1st game, it shouldn’t be an issue.   The league rules state that if you played or checked in to any other game, then you can’t make the switch

Hmm... I played only one game but it was not the first game. I was a brand new registrant to OTHSL on September 15th and played my first game that weekend. Unfortunately there was a mixup and I ended up playing on the "away" team and not my "home" team. I was hoping to resolve this and my understanding was that transfers were allowed prior to 10/8. 

I spoke to a DD on 10/6 who said that I was able to transfer until week 8, or October 22 and that there was no hurry. I had tried to transfer prior to this and it wasn't working. 

Is there anyone who I can talk to to get a final determination on this? It would be a bummer to not be able to make the move having played only one game.

Unfortunately there was a mixup during my registration, likely an error on my part. Because of this I played for the "away" team and not the "home" team.This was the only game I played. 

I have been seeking to rectify this as the team I played for is over an hour from my home. I had trouble making the transfer happen the next week, and after escalating I was told by my DD on 10/5 that transfers were allowed up to 10/22 and the two managers could facilitate this. I requested the transfer again on 10/6. 

It would be shame if this mixup during initial registration was what prevented the transfer. 

Is there someone (my DD?) who can facilitate an exception to the transfer policy? Both team managers are on board with the transfer.

If you checked into a game after week 1, then the only transfers you can make would be to an older team. Sorry
