The README for sshfs (https://github.com/osxfuse/sshfs) mentions needing to install libfuse. Should this be changed? I'm assuming what I should be looking for is FUSE for macOS instead.-jf

The osxfuse/sshfs repository its just a patched fork of the upstream Linux version of SSHFS. However, I've not updated the readme to reflect that.
The SSHFS version in osxfuse/sshfs is lacking behind the upstream Linux version quite a bit. If you want to install the latest version of SSHFS, that is supported on macOS, I recommend using a package manager like Homebrew or MacPorts. However, the 2.5.0 build on https://osxfuse.github.io woks fine but it is a bit outdated.

Thanks, Benjamin. I guess I had the impression that SSHFS was just a project for macOS (since it's under "osxfuse"), hence my confusion about that note about libfuse in the README. I guess this is not the case?-jf
