Marten Loerts Wientjes, 1830-after 1875

Moin!

Could someone do a quick look up in the Weener OSBs.  I am looking for the death of Marten Loerts Wientjes (could be under Loerts or Wientjes), born 2 March 1830 in Fersterborgum and married, and had children in The Netherlands as late as 1878. There is no record of his death in WieWasWie that I see, so I thought maybe he headed back to Weener.  No information on his wife either (Lutjke Timmer)

Any help you can give would be most appreciated.

Jill, I did not see him in there under either name.   He could have gone to another nearby village?
Several others with Marten and/or surname Loerts, but not the one you are looking for.

It looks as though my previous reply (with a link in it) got stuck in the mail.

 

Marten Loers emigrated with his wife and 5 children from Bellingwolde to Dakota USA in 1882. See AlleGroningers.

He applied for citizenship in Turner Co, South Dakota in 1891.

 

He and his wife live in Marion, Turner Co, SD in 1900 (USA Census), his wife and children in 1905 to, he seems to have died before then.

 

He died 23.02.1904 in Monroe according to findagrave.
