Moin!
Someone asked in the chat after my AI presentation on Thursday if it would handle photos.  The answer is yes. This is a multiple step process, but Mark Thompason has made available his prompts for this use.  1.) open ChatGPT;  2. Click on this linke to load his prompts for this task:

Once you see it on your chat you can either use it as a one time use, or save it so it is available for later.   3.) Save it. (Mark Thompson is a great guy!)
4.) Click on the paperclip in the prompt box, select a photo from your computer or drag and drop. I selected a formal photo of my Bode bamily.  See below.  5.) Without adding any additional words, I hit the arrow to get ChatGPT to analyse the photo using Mark's analyzer.
Because I cannot share the answer (don't know why), I have snipped a copy of the response below.  It was all correct and caught the photographer and location I had missed.

Moin!

Jill – thanks very much for sharing this link. It’s a great way to date unknown photographs.

This is amazing! Gave me lots to consider when it analyzed an old photo. Thanks for sharing.

Did the program read the name of the photographer correctly? The quality of this jpg is low, so I have some trouble reading it, but it looks to me like it does not say h.j. but shows a full name like hill....

It might not have. I did not check that closely— an error on my part. I admit I didn’t know there was a name. Points out the need to check closely.

Teijo,

You are right.  AI did not read the studio or the location correctly.  It said that the photo was taken by H. J. Stiles in Osage, Iowa......no.......Kelly's Studio in Oskaloosa, Iowa.  Good catch.  Rookie mistake on my part. The H & K mix up makes sense.
