Hi,
I am using openstreetmaps and osmand plus a long time and I think it is nice combination.
Yesterday I do a walk  and I'm surprised that a new way ist not visible in osmand.
Cause I've recorde the track I wan't to upload the way to openstreetmaps but the way is there.
I've looked at the history viewer https://overpass-api.de/achavi/ and the track is there in the past.
2020-03-15. The track is near the border of NRW and RLP in Germany. Both maps are shown
with a timestamp of 2020-04-01 in openstreetmap and are actual.
Does anybody know how to explain this contradiction?
Thanks
Karsten

Hello,

If you link to the actual way in OSM (rather than just somewhere in a 50km^2 area) people mght be able to investigate further...

Best Regards,

Andy

You mention that the highway/track was added on 15 March 2020.
The cut-off for new maps is around that date in the month. You probably now have the April maps. Simply wait for the May maps. Then that highway/track should be in.

My impression is that the osm data is snapshotted as of the 1st of the
month UTC, and then available around the 10th-13th, variously.

So the map dated April 1, or March 31 here in west longtitude, should
have been ready 4/12 or so.

I would advise the OP to check the tagging on the is way, and to post a
link to it as Andy suggested - it may be in the db but not have tags
that get used in osm.

Or you can subscribe OsmAnd live and have immediate updates of the map:
