Input Lat/Long

I need to enter lat / long from another device to update my real position. Is this possible?

Yes! On the Android version, if you tap the magnifying glass symbol to search, you can just type or copy/paste the coordinates into the top bar where it says "Type to search all". 

Alternatively, pick "ADDRESS" in the next bar at the top then "COORDINATES SEARCH".  This way lets you specify the coordinates' format, but the "Type to search all" method seems to be good at accepting anything - even OLC (open location code) e.g. from Google maps.

To transfer the coordinates from one device to another without manually typing them in, you need to use another app. There are lots of ways of doing it, including the sync features built into some of the major web browsers. You can even do it in airplane mode by  generating and scanning a QR code using suitable apps.

P.S. If you use Telegram, have you looked at the "OsmAnd Online GPS Tracker" app? I've never used it, but I guess that you could track the movement of one of your own devices on another device that way, assuming an internet connection.

I'm sorry, I don't think you understand my question. I have a tablet that doesn't have GPS. The coordinates come from other equipment. This is already working. Now I need to pass these coordinates to Osmand so that the navigation happens with the received data.

I just did the same thing ;-) Only because my tablet has so poor GPS, that I could not stand it.

So I have an old Garmin 10 unit. A blutooth gps receiver.

Switch on the BT, pair the two devices.

Install 'Blutooh GPS' application.

Go to Android settings, developer options and allow 'mock gps position' and choose your 'blutooh' app as position provider.

Since that time any navigation app you have in your tablet gets the position data via BT from your external receiver.

This setup was perfectly running in my car for last 2 months nonstop.

Garmin precision and sensitivity with Android UI comfort ;-)

If anyone has a better/different way I all ears as well as Edson ;-)
