Distance by tap and Apple Carplay

Distance by tap works on my iPhone, but doesn’t work on my Apple CarPlay.  I’m trying to find out if it’s supposed to, or if this functionality is missing from Apply CarPlay.  Appreciate any info.  Thanks.

OsmAnd on CarPlay functionality is limited some features are not yet added and some is can't be added due to safety restrictions. 

Radius ruler is works on CarPlay.
