Why OSMand doesn't use the footpaths for the walk navigation?

I am disapointed because OSMAnd doesn't use the foot paths in the navigation. When i select from one to another point and there is obviously a footpath it gives me some weird straight route to the final destination.

Please give the coordinates of at least starting point, so that somebody can have a look on the path.

You need to specify foot routing, not car. I can tell you that in
almost every place I have tried, foot routing over paths works fine.

Also, check the OSM data: use the two foot routers on
www.openstreetmap.org and see if they make routes like you expect.
Sometimes the map looks ok but is not correct for routing.

Hi everyone, Thanks for the response.

I selected "Walking" profile and the points are as follows:

Start: 41.51392° N, 20.97010° E
Finish:  41.51662° N, 20.97619° E

Does it matter if i added the foot path just yesterday?

Best,
Darko

Yes. If you have osmand live, update and check the date. If you
don't, wait until the 10th of september and update your map.
