Hi.
In the world of applications or on the web, it seems that the motorcycling sector is not much considered.
Yes, you find something but there is nothing well structured and I think OsmAnd can become much more.
In OsmAnd there is the OffRoad display that allows you to view offroad routes.
What's missing is an application that shows which are the most beautiful scenic roads, the most exciting ones, those with more curves, etc..
In fact, one road can have an unparalleled view, another can be treacherous.
TomTom with the rider version, and also in the mydrive.tomtom.com site has realized something similar.
From the site you can view the "most beautiful" roads and decide to create an itinerary passing through those roads.

The first suggestion, therefore, is to think about an evaluation of the road sections.
Users could evaluate roads according to certain categories, for example: scenic beauty, road hazards, road surface maintenance, level of emotion for curves (in the case of motorcyclists).
This information would make it easier for users to plan a route in the best way.

The second is related to route planning.
It would be very convenient to have a web application (i.e. from a PC) to be able to plan routes and decide which roads to pass.

The third suggestion is, in the configuration, to set an autonomy of the vehicle.
I could in fact find myself in the situation of having to face a long distance of road without being able to find petrol stations.
In this way, in my itinerary planning, the program could show me the situations in which I could have some difficulties for refueling (obviously in a theoretical way) and maybe suggest me a preventive stop for refueling (useful for long trips).

The last suggestion, however linked to the previous points is to create a kind of social network for the exchange of routes.
Users could create their own gpx tracks and share them by adding a title, route notes, etc..
You could create real journeys even of a few days to explore areas.
It could be useful for tourists, travellers on motorbikes, bikes or on foot.
You could create routes to visit the city of Florence, or an itinerary to discover the hidden beauties of which no one speaks of the city of Venice, the route along the most beautiful roads of Sardinia, Corsica, France, etc..
I think it would be beautiful

Given the world situation I haven't bought the app yet, but I'm trying it from home.
However, it seems to promise very well and I think I will buy it as soon as we can return to normal.
If there was at least the possibility to have the scenic roads or roads with a biker rating (for example) it would be really great and I would be willing to pay much more than the current selling price, for example even $20/$30.

Thanks for your attention

Dear Robert,

thank you for your feedback.

Yes, I agree with your suggestions; however, I thought it would be possible to generate 4x4 off road tracks with Osmand, which I find to be a very good navigation application.

Which app are you referring to in the end of your mail?

Sorry, one more explanation:
I created a foot track between 2 locations I know: the time given to do the track is absolutely not truthful, as it shows 1hour 53minutes whereas in reality it is 3 hours (even in all route guides).
How is this possible? is there any setting we have to correct on the app?

Thank you again
Petra
