Background location permission

After the latest update (3.9.4 on 2021-01-29) I get the following message on my Android 10 Samsung all the time when tracking where I am going:

"The Background Navigation service requires a location provider to be turned on."

There is currently no permission option available to the user to support background location for OSMAND+.  As I understand it, in Android 10 (and 11) the app has to explicitly declare that it needs such access, and then the user can allow it or not.

I am using the last build "full android" on Lineageos 17.1 - which is Android 10 - WITHOUT any problems.

Hi guys!

Having the same problems as you. Thought I accidentally changed some location settings but this thread gives me the impression that it's caused by some change in the OsmAnd+ app. I have the latest version of OsmAnd+ (3.9.5) from Google Play on a Ulefone Armor 7 with Android 9.

Location services are enabled (and otherwise the app wouldn't work at all, would it?) but I keep getting the message "The Background Navigation service requires a location provider to be turned on" (although in Swedish buy obviously the same message).

Any conclusion on this thread? Anything I can do about it, or just wait for the next update? (Apart from the annoying message, things seem to work).

Regards, Lennart

It is possible that lineageos has a different set of permissions, I used lineageos on another mobile and it had some different permission features to standard Android,

I get messages that recording the track doesn't work properly.

Using version 3.9.6 the problem seems to have gone away on my mobile.
