I loaded GPX and OsmAnd added extra route to my original GPX in red

I uploaded my gpx file to the IOS app . The route looks identical except the one on OsmAnd ( see image 0718) added extra route to it and it is in red ?

Is it a suggestion ? or would it send me to that route ? I do not understand it and concerned I can not navigate with this new piece of route added .( compare the two images ) .

If your current position is the bottom of the red route, it looks like OsmAnd is trying to navigate the GPX from your current position, which is not itself on the GPX. It will do this if you press "Start" and the "Calculate OsmAn route for first and last route segment" is enabled in options. (If that's not your current position, I'm not sure.)

Thanks . No it is not my current position . In fact I was 100 miles away when I loaded it . Not sure !

Interesting. Well the only thing I can say for sure is that your second screenshot indicates that OsmAnd is navigating. From where isn't clear.

In OsmAnd you can view on the map few tracks at once, maybe the red one has enabled in Menu > Map > Trips.
