iPhone connecting

I'm not very skilled at computer stuff but have uploaded most of my GPX files into OsmAndMaps by emailing myself the file, opening email, opening file, uploading (icon top right corner) and hitting OsmAndMaps icon. But this icon had disappeared, it was in the "more" and under "suggestions". This happened once before and I reinstalled the OsmAndMaps app and had to add all my routes again. I'm about to leave on my trip so I don't want to do it this way again.

Any suggestions how I can get the OsmAndMaps icon back or another way to upload my tracks into the app?

Have you figured this out yet? I had the same question, looked further down in the forum and found the answer here https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/osmand/9pnzamNOcjo

I used the iTunes File transfer method which worked. Next I will try to install TopoGPS to see if that kickstarts adding Osmand to the "open with" list
