Can I name a "Marker"??

When I pick a spot on the map and add a Star or a Marker Flag. Is it possible to have the actual name ,that I added, to show on the map next to the Star or Flag?

Yes for favourites (open the main menu, select "Configure Map", and then "POI overlay labels"). It's not possible for markers.
