Hi there,
in the app, when you go to "Settings" -> "OsmAnd settings" -> "Data storage folder" and tap on the first line ("OsmAnd usage") there's a list with storage categories such as "Maps", "Tracks", etc. and on the bottom "Other".
(see https://osmand.net/docs/user/personal/storage/#data-storage-folder)

My "other" category says 8.45 GB and I have no idea what kind of data this could be and how I can manage (e.g. delete) it. I have maps worth around 1GB on my device, a few tracks and favorites, that's it.

Can anybody help with identifying what's summarized under "other"?
I have had a bunch more maps downloaded before so I thought maybe it's old/cached map data or something similar but even if, as mentioned, I haven't found a way to delete it.

Appreciate any hints!

IIUC the number of GB displayed is the amount of free space available in
(the partition holding) that folder, not the amount of space you use in
the folder.

Thanks for your hint!
I checked again what it says exactly on the OsmAnd settings page ("OsmAnd usage") and tried to confirm in the Android storage settings for the app ("User data: 10.12 GB").
Unfortuanetly, I'm pretty sure now it's save to say that it's the *used* storage. See attached screenshots...

I only use internal storage with OsmAnd, so as far as I'm aware no maps or other data were ever stored on the SD card..

In case it helps, my "other" category only says 27.82MB out of ~14GB
