Since last map update (1.12.2020) city names got altered while searching for addresses

Hello everyone!

Since the map update from 1.12.2020 I noticed that when I search for addresses in my city, that some streets cannot be found anymore as they now belong to adjacent cities all of a sudden (which of course they do not in reality).

If someone wants to try out, try to find "Stippelburggasse" in the city "Düsseldorf" in Germany. OsmAnd now thinks that this street belongs to the city of Neuss, which is only starting towards the west after crossing the big river Rhine - and before the last update this was not happening.

I noticed this on many streets that are close to other cities all around the border of Düsseldorf so I suspect a larger error in parsing the map data or something?!

Hi,

I have the map 01.12.2020 and when i search for Stippelburggasse OsmAnd shows my two entries one for Neuss and one for Düsseldorf.

Maybe you need to delete and re-download the map.

I re-installed the map and indeed, Stippelburggasse has 2 entries in the address search, one for Neuss and one for Düsseldorf (the street does not exist in Neuss, though) - another example example is "Schimmelpfennigstrasse", which yields only a result in the city of "Hilden", but it only belongs to Düsseldorf in reality.

now I got it, but i have no idea where the problem is.

For Schimmelpfenningstrasse I can see that there is a bus stop with that name at the Hildener Strasse, but i think that does not lead to the solution.

For Stippelburggasse I also found this by surprise. https://en.parkopedia.de/parking/stippelburggasse_neu%C3%9F/?arriving=202101081730&leaving=202101081930 So Parkopeida has a similar issue. Maybe the OSM data is different now?

Interesting but I unfortunately I can't really contribute to a solution.
