This is a FANTASTIC route.   I can’t be there, but hopefully plenty of the rest of you can.   The entire middle section on FS 17 is absolutely spectacular.   Narrow and twisty through lush coastal forest.   The only traffic you’re likely to encounter is folks heading to the Drift Creek Falls trailhead near the top of the climb.    (Lovely little trail if you have time in the bank to a pretty waterfall and a suspension bridge over the falls).   There’s a bathroom up there too.
