I'm currently getting 404 Not Found for:

https://info.orcid.org/sites/default/files/images/orcid_16x16.png

Is this a temporary problem?

Cheers

Hi there,

Can you tell me what page you are finding that broken link on? Then we can fix it up asap.

Thanks

Rob

A Google search finds links to it both on ORCID's website, and others':

This image is used on all journals.iucr.org articles where an author has an ORCID (I seem to recall it was part of ORCIDs 'branding' resources...)

Hi Simon,

Thanks Andy.

We migrated the site today so it looks like that image link got broken in the process. Sorry it has affected the journals.iucr.org article. You can find our branding materials here https://orcid.figshare.com/articles/ORCID_iD_icon_graphics/5008697 should you wish to download them and use them in a way that you have more control over. Or you can find our new brand guidelines here.  In the meantime I shall put a redirect in place to redirect that image file.

Sorry again for the inconvenience.

Rob

Hi Simon,

I am trying to get it to redirect to https://info.orcid.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/ORCIDiD_icon16x16.png but I am having trouble with it.

Please bear with me

Thanks

Rob

Hi Simon,

We have now fixed the image with a redirect. How does it look from your side?

Best regards,

Will

Looks good, thanks.

(As suggested, we'll probably change our content to include local copies of such icons to avoid such issues in the future - but until then the redirect has saved a lot of time and effort.)

Cheers

Simon
