Field Character Limitations

Hi all,

Would there be an Xpath formula or configuration that can be enabled to only allow a certain number of characters?

For example, I have a Zip field and I am trying to do 2 validations:

1.   Only numeric characters allowed
2.   Maximum length of 5 numeric characters (I am already utilizing the forumula string-length()=5)
   

At this point, I have validations set in place to check this, but the user can enter other characters and any number of numeric characters as it only activates after the user leaves the active field. I would like the form to do not accept input after the 5th numeric character or other characters at the time of input.

The value is changed after you leave the field. 

If you need it 'live' you have to edit source code...
