Hello,

No this is not supported. What I usually do is rewrite the AMPL file into a python one. The translation is not that complex as most of the ampl functionalities are built into python (forall, sets, data manipulation...).

I do have a code that can read most of ampl data file to be used with the translated python model. I can export this to MPS if needed.

Hi,

I'm new to or-tools. But since there is the possibility to use CBC as solver, can I import an AMPL-file in which I described the problem?

Best regards,

Jan

Meaning I add it to or-tools if needed. (I mixed with the previous mail).

Hi guys

Just re-checking whether this option to import ampl files (.mod and .dat) into scip still has not been considered?
It would be specifically useful for MINLP type of problems formulations to maintain the flexibility to toggle between solvers since a .MPS format does not seem to be an option for non-linear problems.

Dawie

Nobody has worked on that.
We welcome PR :-)
