When refactoring Pax Web I had plans to create proper gh-pages branch with deployable wiki/gh page. But you know how it is...I never thought about direct migration of existing Confluence pages, because (that's my habit) I'd get stuck rewriting every page (they are in large part outdated...).
I'm not sure if "wiki" is enabled on GH sites for OPS4J pages - I can enable it if needed, but to be honest I don't have free cycles to work on it...
Anyway, big +1 for the idea ;)

+1 I like the idea of asciidoc and then having GitHub host the docs using GH Pages.
