Cristiano, fiz a configuração conforme links mais dá "Timeout: No response from 10.138.251.2:161"

 Falar que dá timeout não ajuda a te ajudar.
 Como está configurado o SNMP no servidor que quer monitorar?
 Qual documentação usou?
  Que teste fez?
  A porta SNMP está aberta?
  Não tem firewall local?
  A consulta local funciona?
  O timeout dá onde?
  Precisa fazer alguns testes e mostrar o que fez, para podermos ajudar.

   Fez este teste abaixo? Qual o resultado?
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost sysname
   Rodou a partir do OpMon? Qual o resultado?
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public IP_DO_SERVIDOR sysname
  Deu um ps ou netstat ou nmap pra ver se o processo e a porta está respondendo?
  Olhou nos logs?

A porta SNMP está aberta?
Sim está aberta
Não tem firewall local
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost sysname
Retornou o nome da máquina
Rodou a partir do OpMon? Qual o resultado?snmpwalk -v 1 -c public IP_DO_SERVIDOR sysname
Timeout: No Response from 10.138.251.2
Quando dou um netstat.

Se funcionou local então o snmp responde
Se a partir do OpMon não funcinou é porque tem algum bloqueio.
A partir do OpMon pode testar um nmap para o servidor que deseja monitorar, assim vai saber se a porta está aberta.

[root@~]# nmap -sU -p 161 192.168.10.1

Nmap scan report for 192.168.10.1

PORT    STATE SERVICE
161/udp open  snmp

Consegue dar um ping?
Roda também um nmap padrão.
nmap 192.168.10.1
