Hi Joao,if you need just to copy the contents of an existing template into another (new) template, you can go into advanced mode of the existing template, copy the contents, go into the advanced mode of the new template, paste the contents and save.Does this reply to your question or did you mean something different?Federico

Hi OpenWISP community, I would like to know if it is possible to generate a template based on an existing template.--
What I would like to achieve is :
- Be able to replicate an existing template from one organization to another organization;
- Be able to create a new template based on a existing template from the same organization;
I would appreciate any feedback,
Cheers,
João

Hi Frederico,
I think that this method works as an alternative to achieve what I want.
I notice that when you select a template in admin/config/template/ the only option is to delete multiple templates.
Maybe this could be an enhancement for the user experience in the future?
You would like to be able to copy templates there?I imagine we would need a page in which the user selects the organization (if they have access to more than one organization).
The first step anyway is to create a new issue in django-netjsonconfig.
