To all contributors:

Share your proposal with your assigned mentors via email. The best approach is to draft it on Google Docs, share the link, and enable comments.

Upload the same proposal to the GSoC system as soon as possible. You can still update or resubmit it before the deadline. Just make sure you do not forget.

Do not use AI to generate the proposal from scratch. If we notice this, you will be excluded. Using AI to revise or improve your own writing is acceptable. Keep the text concise and avoid verbosity.

At the beginning of your document, list the OpenWISP pull requests you have worked on.

When writing your proposal, treat it as a plan. Ask yourself how you will solve the problem. Describe your approach clearly. Include mockups if the project involves user interface changes. Diagrams and flowcharts can also help, depending on the context.
