What version are you running?

What kind of file are you running on?  What settings are you using?  Can you attach a file?

This error report has no information that anyone can use to help you.

What happens if you start with a simple file from scratch?

i found the problem, but not the solution, my wing and ht is "open meshes merged", i tried changing the position without changing too much the design, but nothing.....

Your wing and HT are fine.

You should always start simple and build up complexity.

In this case, you should start with just the wing / tail, get that working satisfactorily and then add more.

You should start with just one or a few alphas, then add a sweep of more points if you need it.

In the new OpenVSP / VSPAERO (3.45 and newer), I recommend you use Sets to put the lifting surfaces in one Set (that will be analyzed with thin surfaces) and the fuselages in a separate Set (that will be analyzed with thick surfaces).

I suspect your core problem is something to do with the fuselage skinning.

I tried with a basic wing and got the message again and the solver failed, the file called 'test"  is wing + tail onlyScreenshot_1.png

You have both the Thin and Thick sets set to All in this model.  Don't do that.

All components that you want analyzed by VSPAERO need to be in either the Thick or Thin set -- not both.

I tried the analysis set to All/None and None/All -- both worked fine.
