Good evening....
Did a search on this page for "copy" and surfed the web for it as well

Running current rev.
Using a model from the hanger
Modified the design and need to have two identical wings from a single modeled design. Need to copy and paste the second wing into the same model.
C/P  Does not replicate the wing geometry.  I unable to match wing geometry between two wings
tried to copy set and insert - nothing happens

Any notes or videos on copy and paste?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
John

Copy/Paste should work like this...

Select a component, or drag-select a group of components.
Click copy on the Geom Browser
Click to select the component that you want the pasted components to be a child of -- select none to paste as a top-level component.
Click paste in the Grom Browser

You should get a new duplicate component -- it will lie exactly on top of the first one, so you might not see it.

You can use ^C ^V shortcuts -- but the mouse context must not be in a text (or number) entry box -- then, your OS will try to copy/paste the text.

If you're seeing different behavior, please try to explain what you're seeing in very specific detail so we can replicate your steps.

Rob

Thank you for your response.  Attached is the screenshot of the model last save.   the attached file is the .model.  When I went into the model to use the instructions from my thread, my model opens with the wing airfoil reversed? I am unsure why this airfoil and my copy and paste airfoil break and look like my current model.   I have eliminated section one of the wing by making the section length zero.  I know I am missing something in a constraint or parent/child relationship that is causing the reaction to my desired edit.  Understandably shaded was viewed in the screenshot as modeled and saved.
any help would be great
Thanks

Part of the issue is that there is a zero span section 1 in the wing.  The chord is also minuscule there.  I'm not sure why it's set that way.
If you fix this or just cut it out, set the root chord to whatever you want and then copy-paste as described.
