Hola Micael,

I was wondering if it is possible to create a tree of open vidu servers, something similar like the unmaintained project of kurento tree (https://github.com/Kurento/kurento-tree).

My use case is that I have distributed users around the world, 2 in America and 2 in Europe, and I would like them to connect to a local vidu server, and then to connect the 2 vidu servers to create a conference call, and reduce the latency taking advantage of the better connection between servers.
Please see the image below.

I am deploying the vidu servers in AWS using the normal CloudFormation template, which creates an EC2 instance containing the vidu server and the KMS (Kurento Media Server). So my question is, is  it possible to connect the 2 vidu servers to forward the streams between them?
How could I instruct a vidu server to publish all the streams to the other vidu server?

Another option that I was considering is to use the OpenVidu Pro CloudFormation template in AWS, and create the master vidu server node, and one KMS in America and the other in Europe. And in some way instruct the vidu server to connect the users to the closer KMS. And then forward the streams from one KMS to the other. is this possible?  Please see the image below.

Since the webrtc traffic (audio-video streams) is direct to the KMS we would prefer to connect to the nearest KMS, and the location of the master vidu server node wont be so relevant because the location wont affect the streams latency.

Thanks and Regards!

This topology is not possible right now.

But if you are interested, we can implement it under our commercial support services.
