do all Thread devices potentially pass on messages regardless of Network?

if I build a Thread network of my own design and then install Google Nest Connect into my home will the Nest Connect act as part of the mesh?

if I build my own Devices and install them around my home will they act as a mesh node to assist the Google Nest products that use Thread such as the Yale lock?  I mean this as a general question not Google specific.  For example Eve Home also have products.

there might be 3 brands in my home ' mine' Eve Home and Google.

I am wondering if there would have to be 3X the nodes in order to carry the signals to all corners of the building for the 3 different networks.

note: I do understand that the devices are not going to interact with each other at the application level.

thanks!

Devices will not forward messages for other Thread devices if they're not in the same Thread network (PAN ID, extended PAN ID, network master key, and channel -- or collectively, the network operational dataset).

It's the group's future vision to have networks be "shared" across vendors, but this will require techniques to share credentials, merge existing networks, and join each other's networks.
