App crashes

Hi Gareth, after a new Installation from the Playstore on my Samsung tablet, the App crashes every time and does not start. I have installed also the Version 6.6.5 from the apk - same behavior. Before it worked on the same device. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Can you email the crashLog.txt file.  You'll find it in OpenSong/Settings

Hi Gareth, I think I am also experiencing this same issue. Version 6.6.7
I have been having some issues with the storage recently on my tablet, so I just did an uninstall and reinstall from the play store to see if that might help, but the freshly installed app crashes as soon as I open it.
I also tried a first-time install on a different android device to see if it would work there, but it also crashes immediately upon opening.
In both cases there are no crash logs, which I imagine is because the freshly installed app doesn't get to the point of allowing me to select a storage location before it crashes.

You are correct - this seems to affect fresh installations on some devices.  I've managed to reproduce it and will push a fix right now.

I've uploaded v6.6.8 to the downloads page and also pushed it to the PlayStore beta channel for review.  Once it is live, I'll push it on to the stable channel as well

Thank for the quick fix. Version 6.6.8 seems to work fine - GREAT JOB!!!! 😊 

Don't know for how long I would have made it without this absolutely great tool.
