Hi,
I use a desktop PC with the Google Drive app and sync directly between the desktop OpenSong application and my Google Drive. From OpenSong, I have set the storage to my Google Drive directly. That means when I edit songs using my desktop, the Google Drive content is updated automatically. My Android devices, using DriveSync, then get these changes with a simple sync (and then rebuilding the song index when opening). This is the normal and recommended method.
This is my settings on my desktop version of OpenSong
On my Android device, I have DriveSync synced folders set to:
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by streaming or mirroring though. If you mean having your desktop files offline. It is possible - there is nothing stopping you from selecting a 'local' location on your desktop to save your OpenSong files. If you do this, you would need to copy the folder (or individual files) from your local storage to your Google My Drive (or OpenSong folder) manually if you update on the desktop. You would still need to use DriveSync on the Android devices to pull in the changes and then rebuild the song index on starting. If you update any files on your Android device, you would have to wait for DriveSync to upload the changes to your Google Drive, then download these updated files from your Google Drive and then manually paste them into your local OpenSong folder to be able to see the changes in the desktop application. I'm not sure why you'd rather this, but it is possible.

Use mirroring and streaming to sync your files in Drive for desktop.
Changes you make to your streamed or
mirrored files on one device reflect everywhere. In both cases, the
Drive for desktop app still allows you to browse all of your files and
folders in Google Drive on your desktop.

Again, I'll try to follow your example and report back. Thank you again.
Ah, that makes sense. In that case, I have my Google Drive desktop app running as mirroring. That's what DriveSync does for your Android devices too. This means the app works without an internet connection, but will synchronise when you do.
