Hi,

I was just wondering if there's any sort of roadmap for planned features and releases?

Thanks!

Hi,

Not really.  The app has been around for a while and I've implemented most of the features I can think of.  I am, however, very open to suggestions and requests from users (via this forum).
The main thing I am currently working on is teaming up with the fabulous guys at JustChords who have a similar app only for iOS (also free, also with no adverts or paid add-ons) and a very similar desire to support musicians around the world.  We are currently getting our apps to talk to each other using a synchronised online folder.  Imagine being able to share your songs and sets directly with iOS users (rather than constantly exporting and importing).  If you have band mates using iOS devices, tell them to check them out https://www.justchords.app

Or ist there a possibility I didnt see?
Thanks,

A small feature I would find useful is to have in the header for the song not just the key and capo key, but also the tempo. Each week I come to music practice and the drummer asks what tempo we're doing each of the songs in, and the only reliable place to find that is on my tablet. To find the tempo in the song at the moment, unless I add it to the top of every song, I'd have to go to edit the song, and then into song features and then back again which just takes a while. Not sure if others would benefit from that feature, but it would make it easier for me. No worries if it's a pain to implement. Thanks.
And thanks again for a great app. I've been using it for about 10 years now, and it works great for guitarists & singers.

Hi Christian,
Your description sounds like Highlight Notes.
I use that a lot! My wife uses it plenty for noting Bass dynamics as well.
See this section in the manual and let us know if that is what you are after

Thanks,
Alistair

Hi Jon,

I've added this feature for the next release (you can turn it on/off from the Settings > Display > Action bar).
I'm hoping to push this release to the beta channel later this week.

PS. You can also get that info a little quicker than the method you suggest - single tap the song title bar and you'll see the information overview of the song without having to go to the edit pages.

Best wishes Gareth
