docs.opensocial.org uses Confluence Enterprise hosted service.  I noticed a banner at the top today that says..

Confluence Enterprise Hosted service expired 15 February 2013.  Service will be shut down on 18 March 2013. Migration options are detailed here.

As part of the website migration, are we moving the wiki off Confluence?  Seems like we can migrate the wiki to Atlassian OnDemand but our URLs will change.  It will have to be something like "opensocial.atlassian.net".

If the Board hasn't already been working on this then somebody needs to work on this immediately so we don't lose access to our documentation.  March 18th is less than one week away.

Can who ever is driving this make sure this thread is updated with the solution?

We're set to migrate to Atlassian OnDemand. Some of the details are to be worked out but the take away for those on this mailing list is that we won't be losing our data or anything like that.

So where can I find the specs today? The Atlassian page says that the site is down for maintenance.

DNS record for opensocial.org hasn't been updated yet but for now you can get to docs wiki at
http://opensocial.atlassian.net/

Or link directly to the OpenSocial 2.5 spec at the google code project
http://opensocial-resources.googlecode.com/svn/spec/2.5/

When will the DNS record be updated, this is causing a lot of problems?  Who is working on this?

Guys who is working on resolving the DNS?  This has been broken for WAY TOO LONG and needs to be fixed.  Even the opensocial.org site has broken links on it!  (For example http://opensocial.org/documentation/)  This is making us look pretty bad!

We can move this to an Atlassian OnDemand account -
Would you like me to make this happen, including the content migration?

Ellen I am not particulary concerned about where this lives.  If there are benefits to doing this I don't mind.  What I am concerned about is that people have links via bookmarks, etc that are broken and people think OpenSocial has gone away because it has been months.  Fixing the DNS seems a bit easier than moving all the content.

The Confluence site was migrated a while ago.  It is fine for now.  docs.opensocial.org points to the Confluence wiki.  opensocial.org points to our updated site.  I have admin access to opensocial.org so if you need links fixed, just tell me and I can fix them.  Are we still running into DNS problems?  I don't have access to change that.
