Hi  I'm  attempting to rebuild version .10 with the aim of recovering the data before upgrading to the latest version.

I have been building on Ubuntu 2204, adding in Python 2.7 (1804 has been refused by our IT as its no longer supported),  and come across an issue locating '/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/openrem/' after installing openrem.  Everything installed with sudo and no virtual  environment  .

Any thoughts, am I being stupid?

I may have resolved the openrem installation issue.   Ive had to install django-js-reverse==0.9.1  separately    ,  Ill update if I come across any other issues.

So yes being stupid and not reading the error messages.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the update. Installing 0.10 is difficult now for all the dependencies.

I was going to check if you really need to reinstall 0.10 - all you really need is a postgresql database dump from the 0.10 database and the settings file: https://docs.openrem.org/en/latest/upgrade_linux_new_server.html

Kind regards

Ed
