Hi all,

I’m currently looking into setting up OpenREM for medical physics.

However, I’ve been notified by our Cyber Security team that “there are multiple security concerns with deployment of Docker, VMs, and containerisation toolsets that would not meet the requirements of the DSPT.”

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to work around this or similar issue with their IT team?

Regards,
Ziyang

Hi Ziyang.

There are alternatives to installing via Docker and containerisation - you can install to Windows or to Linux without using Docker: Installation — OpenREM 1.0.0b2 documentation

However, I would at this stage wait for the release version of OpenREM v1.0, which we are expecting to be able to release in a few weeks.

Kind regards

Ed
