I’m running into a strange issue with a stepper motor on an Smoothie/MicroSMT board running OpenPnP 2.4.
On power-up, the stepper holds torque properly. However, as soon as I issue any jog command or G-code, the motor disengages and spins freely. If I follow up with an M112 (Emergency Stop), it immediately re-engages and holds torque again. Essentially, any motion or control command causes the motor to drop hold current.
For context, I have servos running on two other channels on the same board and they work fine. Is there a specific Smoothie or OpenPnP configuration setting I might be missing for steppers? Has anyone seen this issue?
