1. Did you consider the CP45 nozzles? If so, why did you decide to go with the CP40 over the Cp45?
2. Have you tested the runout on these?
- how can i remove the old JUKI robodigg adapter from my nema 8 stepper?
But IMHO, that's a professionell adpater. I don't think that we run in a big runout with these guy :)
To prepare an Adapater for a nema8 are easy, i ordered a delrin (POM) round bar and will mill a hole 4.9mm for hollow shaft and a 4.5mm for the threaded rod (i guess it's M5), the rod will cut his way in this hole and it's airtight and centered ... hopefully :)
The second photo shows the thread leads to tapered shoulders on the adapter. These would mate with a tapered seat giving a reasonably accurate center I should expect. Just wonder how much play there is in the CP40 adapter due to the spring arrangement?
For info, I have found the RobotDigg adapters can center the nozzles OK if the screws are adjusted to achieve it. However, the time it takes to do it is a pain.
Ron
Frank I have that motor to my new machine , screw is M5 but nozzle holder for CP45Neo is M3 with fine thread .
What is dimension screw on the CP40 nozzle holder ?
Second problem is that hole is not on center and difference is more then 0.1 mm , I m make new shaft for that .
